Cooling Towers

Cooling towers continuously circulate large volumes of water to remove heat from industrial processes. This circulating water often contains dissolved minerals such as calcium and magnesium. When water evaporates, these minerals can form scale deposits, bio-fouling, and corrosion inside pipes, heat exchangers, and tower fill media. These issues reduce heat transfer efficiency, increase energy consumption, and lead to higher maintenance costs.
Aquatreat is installed on the make-up water inlet line of the cooling tower. The device uses a strong magnetic field to alter the behavior of dissolved minerals in the water. Instead of forming hard scale deposits on heat transfer surfaces, the minerals remain suspended in the water and are discharged through the blowdown process. This helps keep pipes, spray nozzles, and tower fill cleaner without the need for chemical dosing.
By installing Aquatreat, cooling tower systems can achieve better heat transfer efficiency, reduced scaling, lower maintenance, and longer equipment life. It also reduces water consumption by minimizing frequent cleaning and chemical treatment. Because Aquatreat operates without chemicals, electricity, or maintenance, it provides a simple and environmentally friendly solution for cooling tower water management.
