How Magnets Work
Magnets have two poles, North and South, based on Nature's law. Every cell in the human body can be viewed as a small magnetic unit. Each cell produces its own magnetic field, and any disturbance in this magnetic field indicates a disorder. According to many researchers, this equilibrium can be restored with the help of magnets.
Technically, magnetism works because it increases the speed of sedimentation of suspended particles in water and enhances conductivity as well as the process of ionization or dissociation of atoms and molecules into electrically charged particles.
Physics shows that chemicals change weight under the influence of magnetic fields; so does water. More hydroxyl (OH-) ions are created to form calcium bicarbonate and other alkaline molecules, which help reduce acidity.
Normal tap water has a pH level of about 7, whereas magnetised water can reach around 7.8 pH after exposure to a strong magnetic field. Magnets also affect the bonding angle between the hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the water molecule, reducing it from 104° to 103°. This causes water molecules to cluster in smaller groups, leading to better absorption across cell walls.
Human Applications
Experience has shown that magnetised water contributes to improved health and has been reported to help in treating digestive, nervous, and urinary disorders. Some researchers have noted differences between water exposed to the North pole versus the South pole. North pole treated water is believed to inhibit bacterial growth, while South pole treated water may help relieve pain, swelling, and weakness. Water magnetised by both poles is believed to enhance overall health.
However, well-documented scientific evidence regarding the exact differences between north and south poles and their effects on health is still inconclusive.
Magnetising Your Drinking Water
Magnetised water has been reported to help in digestive, nervous, and urinary disorders. It may reduce excess acidity and bile in the digestive system and regulate bowel movements. Even healthy individuals are sometimes advised to drink magnetised water to prevent digestive issues.
Magnetised water may also help with nervous disorders and blood pressure, especially low blood pressure. It is believed to have a soothing effect on nerves, help clear clogged arteries, normalize circulation, and provide strength and vitality.
It has also been used externally for washing swollen eyes, wounds, eczema spots, and skin irritations. Regular washing with magnetised water is believed to help maintain normal eyesight.
Factors Affecting Magnetisation
The degree of magnetisation depends on three factors:
• The quantity of liquid placed on the magnet
• The strength of the magnet used
• The duration of contact between the liquid container and the magnet
A modern method involves passing water through magnetic discs of up to 10,000 gauss momentarily to achieve a similar effect.
